Our Lower Secondary Music course allows students to explore music from a wide variety of genres as a performer, composer and listener. From waltz and samba to classical and pop, students will have the opportunity to discover music from different cultures and time periods.

Course advice

Our Lower Secondary Music course assumes basic knowledge of Grade 3 Music Theory. Students must be receiving instrumental or singing lessons as an accompaniment to this course and will require 1.5 hours per week of study time to complete each year of the course plus additional time for completing assignments.
