Lower Secondary English

Our Lower Secondary English course covers the four key elements of reading, writing, listening and speaking. The course is designed to give students experience and confidence in developing English skills to communicate in different settings for different intentions and audiences.

Our Lower Secondary English course is packed full of activities, quizzes, explanations and videos to allow students to develop their English language skills in a fun and engaging way.

This course is primarily for students who have English as a first language.

Course advice

The Lower Secondary English course assumes students have completed a Primary English course to a good standard. This course follows the English National Curriculum for Key Stage 3 English and the Cambridge Lower Secondary English Curriculum Framework

Students will require up to 4-5 hours per week of study time to complete each year plus extra time for completing assignments.
