Our Cambridge IGCSE Latin course teaches students to understand Latin, deconstruct language learning and appreciate its contribution to the modern world.

Although Latin is no longer a native language, it is still spoken and read, influencing many modern European languages.

How our courses work

Syllabus and exams

This course follows the Cambridge IGCSE Latin syllabus 0480.

This exam may be sat only in June in Cambridge Administrative Zones 3-6.

This subject is not available in countries in Cambridge Administrative Zones 1 and 2.

Course advice

Students are not expected to have previous knowledge of Latin.
