“The International School Olomouc uses Wolsey Hall courses as a part of our study programme for both part-time and full-time students,” explains Monika Hrušková, Upper secondary teacher and Flexi-programme coordinator.

“Wolsey Hall courses are a main part of our full-time study programme for IGCSE and A level students since we have a small combined class at our school. We also use individual subjects to support our AGT students, so they can work ahead and at their own pace, for example if a Year 8 student is talented in Maths they can move independently on to Year 9 Maths.”

“We offer Wolsey Hall courses to our former students too if they transferred to a Czech school and wish to continue with English as a First Language or they want to study other chosen subjects in English.”

Using Wolsey Hall courses is beneficial for our students because they learn how to study independently and how to organise their work and time. It also helps the teachers to organise the lesson if there are students at varying levels.

We can offer a broader range of IGCSE subjects for a very small class which would not be possible otherwise.
